DRINKS
1.Day Of The Dead Margaritas
Day of the dead is a Mexican Halloween tradition, so to keep with this theme there's no other drink suitable than MARGARITAS... surely? Simply salt the edge of a glass, garnish with a lime and mix Tequila Cointreau and Lime juice... I'm 18, we don't measure drinks, just pour until it looks and tastes fab!

2.Southern Spooks
Jack and Coke is a classic southern favourite like fried chicken or banana cream pie. The good news is that it looks super cool for Halloween because it's black and eerie like a witches cauldron or something. To further play on the Southern Halloween vibe add a Reese's peanut buttercup to the edge (another firm favourite around this time of year) and voila! Again notice my skilful freelance pouring of alcohol here
3.Poison Apple martini
We all know that toffee apples are big on Halloween, although the actual thing is way more hassle than it's worth and you just end up with toffee in your hair and walking around with an apple on a stick. SO this drink is a very happy alternative. Pour toffee or syrup down the inside of a glass, garnish with an apple slice and mix together appetiser and vodka  (I added a splash of green food colouring too) Then BOOM a super sweet cocktail for grownups with a childhood throwback

TREATS
1.Chocolate Spiderwebs
These are so easy to make and look way more impressive than they were. Simply melt chocolate, pour into a piping bag and pipe spiderweb designs onto greaseproof paper. Sprinkle with dark edible glitter before the chocolate dries then put everything in the freezer for at least 20 minutes. After this you can pick the designs straight off the paper and place onto cakes.
2.Sweet Ghosts
This cake design is perfect for when you're running late, guests are coming in 20 minutes, you've yet to draw an array of fake scars and bruises on yourself, the pound shop spiderwebs have not been hung and trick or treaters are pounding angrily at the door. Simply use a round nozzle and pipe tall swirls onto cakes, then use chocolate icing to pipe two eyes and a mouth. DONE! WE HAVE GHOSTS PEOPLE!
