Halloween is one of my favourite times of year and while you may enjoy drowning your creepy cravings in Jell-O shots there's no reason you can't class it up now n then with a very classy very Pinteresty dinner party! If you're stuck for some decorative table inspiration then have a little scroll and see if my black and silver, prestige vibe takes your fancy. Happy Halloween Queens! I hope all my likeminded basic gals have their cat ears, whiskers and slutty black dresses ready for the big night! :D
How To Get Easy Beach Waves In The Winter
(NOT my finest photo but the waves look good!)
I know we're all meant to be running round picking Pumpkins and drinking hot chocolates with glee, but I'm just not there yet. I love summer and one of the reasons for that is the fact that we can look pretty decent without making any effort at all! Tanned skin, white teeth and natural summer waves! Until... winter hits. Time to whip out the aggressive straighteners and crawl around with hair more boring than the weather. NO MORE! Here's my super quick and easy guide to getting natural looking beach waves... with just a little heated help since the sun and sea aren't here to lend us a hand anymore!
STEP ONE: Give your hair a wash using Aussie miracle shine shampoo and conditioner (just works wonders and smells delicious) While it's not pleasant the colder the water the better for your hair!
STEP TWO: Rub some Aussie (notice a favourite) curl defining serum into your locks and then roughly blow dry (no need to give yourself a bouncy finish, as long as it's hot)
STEP THREE: While your hair's still warm you have the option to put some mousse into those locks to make sure the waves hold, then place it into a tight plait and run over the braid using straighteners. Finally spritz with sea salt spray and leave for at LEAST 30 minutes, but the longer the better.
STEP FOUR: Undo the plait, run some hairspray over the finished look and voila! Beach ready for the pumpkin patch.
